Our Story
Founded in the year 2000, Beb Wine Company Limited emerged from a simple yet powerful idea: to turn the abundant fruit harvests of Northern Uganda into something exceptional. Local farmers were producing more oranges, pineapples, and other fruits than they could sell, and much of this produce was going to waste. Recognizing an opportunity to uplift the rural communities while addressing the issue of surplus, Beb Wine Company Limited was born.
The initial trials of wine production took place in Ibuje, Apac District. With overwhelming support from the local community and promising demand for the product, Beb Wine officially launched. Since those early days, we’ve grown from a small team of three employees to a thriving company with over 562 dedicated staff members across production, sales, marketing, and administration.

Our state-of-the-art bio-production facility recycles production waste into valuable resources, making us pioneers in environmentally responsible winemaking.
We now hold 80% of the local market share, and in 2024, we were voted among East Africa’s Super Brands. Beb Wine products are certified by the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS), further validating our commitment to quality and safety.

Through our unique Contract Farming Supplier Model (CFSM), we partner with local farmers, providing them with financial, operational, and advisory support. Director's Message
Beb wine company Limited is one of the largest and most community centered wine producers in Uganda with a rich localized heritage that goes back over 24 years.
Wine production is at the heart of what we do and is driven by our zeal to produce the best quality wine safe for consumption by our consumers in the entire East African region; through an all-inclusive sustainable business model that provides various opportunities to our vast stake-holder spectrum.
We continue to leverage on constant innovation as one of our key pillars and this has given us tremendous push in achieving several milestones among which is the first of a kind Eco- friendly Bio Production unit in East Africa; producing fertilizers, seeds and recycling plastic products.
Our local fruits farmers are one of our key stakeholders and we continue to establish a strong relationship with them through our contract farming supplier model (CFSM) which is very unique and perhaps the only one in the wine industry. It is through this model that we offer both financial, operational and advisory support to our suppliers.
This endeavour has enabled us build a solid, efficient and sustainable upstream and downstream supply chain. Our commitment to the community stems from our passion to continuously boost and improve livelihoods. We continue to create strong ties and positive impacts through our deliberate community outreach activities such as creating income generating opportunities through our supply chain and direct employment, provision of healthcare insurance to our employees, education services and skills development by providing internships placements to learners across the region, supply of fruits seeds, water (Boreholes) facility and conservation of the environment among others.
Through continuous improvement of our operational efficiency and engagement of our vast stakeholder spectrum, we are confident that we shall achieve our business goals amongst which are not only to produce the right product for our customers but also create more opportunities that boost our community livelihoods, localized economy and the national economy at large.

Our Process

Each batch begins with fresh, ripe lemons and pineapples, sourced from trusted Ugandan farmers who share our dedication to quality. The fruits are carefully pressed to extract the purest juices, which are then skillfully fermented to capture their natural essence and unique flavors.
